The Audio of Lynked: Banner of the Spark
Crafting the Soundscape for an Aspirational Apocalypse
We are happy to announce that the next NYCGA meetup will later be this month, Thursday September 25th at YouTooCanWoo! Doors open at 6:00 pm and talk begins at 7:00 pm.
Join NYC-based audio team Ronny Mraz, Kate Jacobs and Zach Abramson as they discuss the sounds of Lynked: Banner of the Spark, a new rogue-life RPG developed by Fuzzybot and launched earlier this year.
They will be talking about challenges they faced, what the audio direction was like, remote processes, evoking nostalgia through music, creating punchy but inviting sound design, scaling sound design systems, and creating a fictional robotic language coined Botlish.
